Why Mental Health Matters More Than We Think

In today’s fast-moving world, we often focus a lot on physical health but forget about mental health. As students, we deal with studies, expectations, and pressure, which can sometimes feel overwhelming.

There are times when stress, anxiety, or overthinking take over. It’s completely normal, but many people ignore it or hesitate to talk about it. I feel that mental health is just as important as physical health because it affects how we think, feel, and handle situations.

Talking to someone we trust—like a friend or family member—can make a big difference. Sometimes we don’t need solutions, just someone who listens.

In the end, taking care of our mental health is not a weakness, it’s a strength. It helps us live better and feel more in control of our lives.
